About Daniel
Relying on over 25 years of both personal and professional experience using the computer and internet, my teaching methods are simplified, practical and understandable — helping to break down the barriers of fear and intimidation of learning new technology. All of this provides older adults with a greater understanding of the technology available to them — to enhance their lives and keep them connected to family and friends, and engaged in modern technology.
As an independent consultant/instructor based in Rochester, NY, I provide both private in-home one-on-one instruction, as well as small-size courses and seminars at various community centers, independent living and assisted living communities. I have developed computer, internet and digital technology programs for Lifespan's Lily Café and Senior Options For Independence (SOFI) at Fairport Baptist Homes. I have also taught courses and seminars through Lifespan, Valley Manor, Oasis Institute, Crimson Ridge Meadows, The Summit at Brighton, Baywinde, Brickstone at St. John's, Eastside YMCA, Perinton Community Center, and The Highlands At Pittsford. For a full list of clients, please click here. In June of 2010, I received my certificate in Gerontology through St. John Fisher/Lifespan and I am a Certified Eden Alternative Associate.
